Odell Typewriter

1889

The most popular of index typewriters, the Odell was manufactured by the Odell Typewriter Company in at least five numbered models with the earliest printing in caps only and subsequent models offering both upper and lower case printing. It was operated by moving the linear type slide to the desired character and depressing it to print.
