Corona No.3

1912

The Corona typewriter's unusual characteristic was a carriage that folded over the keyboard for an easy fit into its travel case. Manufactured for almost three decades, production ceased around 1941, but only after it had become one of the biggest sellers of all time and had helped propel Smith Corona to the top of the typewriter industry. Because of the large quantities manufactured over a long period, specimens of this model are common, even after seventy years.
