Oliver Typewriter

Circa 1896

The Oliver Typewriter Company manufactured its first typewriter as early as 1894, however, it would take another two years before sales began to climb. Shown here is an early example of a model two, nickle plated, with black keytops and sporting a closed "O" in the Oliver side nameplate.
